Worship Volunteer Scheduling (WVS) is a powerful scheduling feature that will dramatically raise the level of communication between you and your team. You can define your church's service roles, easily assign individuals to those roles, and quickly send email reminders of service commitments. There is also a volunteer confirmation system that lets you know whether or not the volunteer can make his or her service assignment.
With WVS, you can grant an unlimited number of people access to the My.WorshipPlanning.com site. MyWP is a light version of WorshipPlanning.com. Those with access will be able to:
- Easily see when they are schedule to serve at worship services
- Confirm or decline their service "assignments"
- Indicate their availability to serve on a virtual calendar
- View/printout service details
- Download service related files
- Access fellow volunteer contact information
- Update their own contact information
And we have plans to add many more features to the MyWP site. We strongly believe that the more volunteers can feel connected to the planning process, the more excited they will be to serve.
WVS costs nothing extra. It is part of the standard WorshipPlanning.com service.
WVS is ready to be turned on for your church, though we strongly encourage you to watch the animated demonstration before enabling this feature. To turn it on,
simply login to WP, browse to your church settings (Admin --> Church Info --> Settings Tab), and click the Modify Settings button. There, you'll have the option to Enable Worship Volunteer Scheduling. Note that you must be security level 3 to turn this feature on.
