For many churches, the worship planning process centers around a single individual.
You, or maybe your assistant, have the huge responsibility of keeping everyone up to date, and
keeping their planning contributions organized.
When you use WorshipPlanning.com (WP), you no longer have to be the center of the planning
process. Rather, WP keeps track of the details of a more
distributed planning process.

WP is designed to help most service planning methods already used
by churches. While reading the below "steps", try to imagine how Worship Planning can fit
into and enhance your process of planning worship services.
We are also happy to give you a phone demonstration to show how WP can help
your church. Check out the Phone Tour
Request form for more info.
|
1. The worship leader or administrator creates a service in WP with known details
(possibly only the date and time).
|
2. Details of the service are flushed out by worship planners (and/or others) using tools such as song statistics, song themes,
and the message board in WP. Also, files that assist with preparing for the service (song charts, MP3s,
PowerPoint files) are attached (uploaded) to the service for sharing.
|
3. When all the service details are finalized the service is "Locked" by the church's worship leader in WP.
This tells everyone that the service plans will no longer change, though it can still be viewed.
Of course, certain individuals can unlock the service, if necessary.
|
4. Individuals without accounts in WP can be emailed a special link to access the latest schedule without having to log in.
|
5. Prior to the service start time, generic and/or customized schedules are printed for
distribution to those with key roles in the worship service. Also, activity details (including church
announcements or song lyrics) can be printed.
|
6. During the service, the hard copy schedule is used as a guide to track the timeline and
assist with the flow of the service.
